To be like Jesus 143

“He saith unto him the third time,

Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?

Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time,

Lovest thou me?

And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee, Jesus saith unto him,

Feed my sheep.” John 21 v17 AKJV

Lord, this day is yours. There is so much to be thankful for, and we thank you. Amen

To be like Jesus 140

To be like Jesus-To be Christ like-To be called a Christian…because of following the ways of Christ…

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being in the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” Hebrews 1 v1-3 AKJV

Beyond the reach of mortal man is the giving of what our creator gives, except that he gives through man by his Son the gift of the testimony of Grace. Shall we make the case of his existence when in the far reaches of the universe of which we can only discuss a picture of a change that has occurred. Everything held in the balances, and to thank God, it is held by a righteous God who loves man so much that through his Son salvation is ready for all who will choose.

Lord, we are thankful for this day and all those you have blessed with knowledge of our universes, of ourselves, and of all the things that make life better in the time of need.

This day, I pray that your guidance will prevail in our thoughts that what we do will bring glory and honor to you. In that life will be substantially better. We thank you. Amen

Lord, this day is yours. Amen

To be like Jesus 139

“We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 2 Corinthians 6 v1,2 AKJV

Solomon wrote in the Older Testament days when speaking of what matters, and of “vanity”, and of “Vanity of vanities…”. In the end he wrote…

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Ecclesiastes 12 v13,14 AKJV

It is troubling at times to see where much of the today’s world finds itself. Seemingly no boundaries, or if they disagree the thing is to create an agenda that gets them changed, even the definition and perception of Morals and morality. Many have ask, what do I need to be saved from? Why is there need of salvation?

Others have seen and experienced the salvation of God, over time and testimony is given, thus the Old, and the New Testament of Scriptures. Also, personal experiences that know the difference that God has made in individual lives that bear witness to the precepts of God being effective in the salvation of them day to day. God is merciful, he is great, his longsuffering(patience) greater than any, yet there is a day all will be required of this life that has gone un-repented. This day is good and is the day of salvation, that our lives would reflect him in us so that others to may know of his goodness. Eternal

Lord, I thank you for this day a pray that a repentant heart remain in who I am, yet boldness to proclaim the gospel as well. We give you thanks for all that you have done. As our people are abroad I pray your spirit, your strength, your goodness, and your protection be with them all.

Lord, this day is yours. Amen

To be like Jesus 138

“Hand brought me up also out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Blessed is the man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.” Psalm 40 v2-4

Lord, this day restore the right of passage (account of justification) to those who desire that close walk with you, not in any way that it has been taken away except that in their own thought. Let no doubt remain, that they may bear witness of you to others, even in me. Amen-Grace, Grace, marvelous Grace

Lord, this day is yours. Amen

To be like Jesus 137

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5 v18-21 AKJV

Nothing has been created except what was created of God. Men have chosen the paths of right or wrong and in the process of time attributed to the current state of which our world is now in. God, through his Son Jesus, has made possible and accomplished the path of restoration of those who have chosen and will choose his purposes now and for eternity.

Lord, we thank you for this day. Let us have a heart of repentance that guides us to a life of liberty in you.

Lord, this day is yours. Amen
