Today’s Meditation 5/26/2018

a random verse…

“Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!” Isaiah 5:23

…the word continues in Isaiah…

…”but they regard not the work of the Lord”…┬áThe word of the Lord starts with …”In the beginning God created…” and closes with ….”He that testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”

From the beginning to the end Gods purpose, his desire for fellowship, and his grace are extended to all humanity who will choose to follow him. By faith we accept his grace which in turn spiritually inspires our lives to honor him.

Lord, help our culture-our nation- to again return to you and to honor your ways. Strong drink, drugs, and many other implied acceptances under the premise of a false interpretation of love is devouring our very own. We pray Lord for a better understanding even within the church of what is taking the lives and the lifestyles that would be available to all if we only would hear and regard your word in our lives. Lord, I thank you for the mercy and grace shown to me as a sinner and hope to share your Love through your truth’s to those who need you. Lord bless this day. Amen.

a random verse…

“With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace.” Psalm 45 v15

…the word continues in the book of Psalm

…”God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. …”

Lord, we thank you for this day and ask your forgiveness where we fail. Lord, I thank you today in our time of need, those that are yours, you are with them. We give you all the glory and honor this day. Amen.

Today’s Meditation 5/24/2018

a random verse…

“And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.” Isaiah 2 v17

It is a good thing to walk with the Lord’s guidance. Today is a good day and his mercy endures forever.

Lord, I pray you guide our very steps, where we go, who we cross paths with. We are reminded by your word that those who have fell into the trap of deception of thinking there is more than your way are also in your hands. We thank you for this day. We pray this day for our nation, our communities, our friends, and our families. Amen

Today’s Meditation 5/22/2018

a random verse…

“And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.” Luke 8 v20

…and the word continues in the book of Luke…

…”And he answered and said unto them, “My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

Jesus clarity of this was that those who hear and live the word of God, the Bible, show evidence in their own lives that they are part of the family of God, God’s family.

Lord, we thank you for this day for your word, as it shows us our way. We thank you for the ability to choose and to belong to the family of God. Help us this day to show others by our actions and words that they to can be a part of this family. Amen

a random verse…

“Therefore the Lord heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger came up against Israel.” Psalm 78 v4

…and the word continues in Psalm’s

…”Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:…”

Lord, help us this day in our faith, strengthen our faith in a good way this day and those around us as well. Thank you Lord for this day. Amen.

Today’s Meditation 5/20/2018

a random verse…

“They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills.” Lamentations 4 v5

Lord, help us to find the pure way in life, to follow you. As we seek to walk with you let our focus be more clearer than ever and our decisions more precise in following your ways. Be not angry with us, and teach us with your kind hand what is life and how it is to be witnessed to others. Guide us in your ways and forgive us in our failures. Let us be truthful and not pretentious for our own gain. Let our ministers minister in the true and uncompromising, yet as kind as you would have us to be. We thank you Lord for your mercies in this day. Amen.
