“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God:” Romans 3 v23
Yes, we have sinned and fell short of the life that would glorify God as he is, and that task of being perfect is beyond our reach without the “law of faith” which is our justification through the blood of Christ that was shed on the cross for our sins. Shall we continue in sin, “God forbid.” We are to “strive for perfection” (i.e. try) to live out our lives as a “living sacrifice” for God and for ourselves to others.
