“Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal (fair). Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal (unfair)? Ezekiel 18 v31
Israel was and is the nation God brought forward for example of establishment of understanding him in many ways. The word spoken to them prior to this verse is pretty self explanitory in achieving equality(fairness).
“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, shall die. But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, And hath not eaten upon the mountains (at the mountain shrines), neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbor’s wife, neither hath come near to a menstrous woman, And hath not oppressed any but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment; He that hath not given forth upon usury (robbed/interest), neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgement between man and man, Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgements, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord God.”
God’s fairness and equality for all of mankind is truly just in all his ways. Is it me that would be driven to the claim unfairness and inequality on the premise of letting loose of all standards and all laws that are inspired of him for all. His love endures forever, his mercy endures. He gave his son as the sacrificial means for all of us to choose life. May you be blessed today, and hear from the Lord. Amen 12/28/2017
