“For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, that the man which doeth those things shall live by them.” Romans 10 v6
There was a beginning of time when man’s understanding of God’s ways lacked perimeters of understanding, almost as it seems now. Moses was the called one who God used to bring out the Lord’s ways to a people and as an example today.
Over time, God’s plan has brought the further development of our understanding with Salvation through his son Jesus Christ. In the next few verses the word put’s it this way…”That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
In our mistakes of the law we are driven to understand the grace of the Lord Jesus. Grace is his strength to live as we should, and his forgiveness in our time of need.
Lord, help us to seek your ways throughout this day. Amen
