“For the Lord will not cast off for ever:” Lamentations 3 v31
At times far away is a place we all seem to be. Cold and indifference settles in with crushing strength, and dry is the spiritual place of our mirage of separation.
But who is it that set the stars, the moon and the sun in place and holds them there.
“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and guitely wait for the salvation of the Lord…”
May we have the strength to wait on the Lord. Our hope is in him alone. By faith we go today, the ground crunching under our feet. The cold seeping up into our physical being, but soon the grass will come in the spring by the Lord’s balance. Thank you Lord for all that you do for us, Amen.
