Today’s Meditation 2/9/2018

a random verse…

“And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity.” Lamentations 3 v17

In times when all seems destitute or lost, read on…

“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because of his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man that bear the yoke in his youth.” …

To remember, God is truly good, and God is in control.

Lord, as you go with us this day, we thank you. Help us Lord to lean on you and your ways and not to our own understanding. Let us Lord hear what your spirit is saying to us today, as you bring your word to our mind. Amen
