“But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.” Luke 11 v28
Many blessing’s come in life, including life itself, yet it is even more blessed when we “hear the word of God, and keep it.” It is not of us hearing so much in a way we just understand a rule, but hearing in a way we understand the rule that keeps us. When we are weak he is strong. God is always at work around us.
Lord, bless all those who are looking to you today as I know you will and you do. Lord, let us understand as you speak to us through your word the ways of keeping it to honor you. May you be lifted up from the inside of our cup as it overflows of you love and understanding, not of the outside of the cup which is only the vessel to which holds the inside. Amen
