“And they laid the ark of the Lord upon the cart, and the coffer with the mice of gold and the images of their emrods.” 1 Samuel 6 v11
and the word continues
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
and our part according to the word of the Lord-
“I Beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
What a wonderful day it is when we realize our imperfections are taken by the one who went to the cross for us, Jesus.
A favorite song of mine learned while on Short term missions in Africa years ago went like this-“Jesus love is a bubbling over” and on and on, over and over with the hand motions it went.
Lord, I thank you for the hands of the cross, and pray Lord as I know you do, that beyond the hands is the spirit that lives within that is truly blessed. May your strength be immeasurable in portion as we move on through the journey of this life. We are so very, very, thankful for all that you have done in the hearts of my family. Amen.
