Today’s Meditation 3/1/2018

a random verse…

But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.” Luke 11 v41

Give of ourselves of what is on the inside. Our ownership is not of the things of this world in the transition to eternity but of what we have shown of Christ in us while we journey through this world.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” to barter with what we do not see is to mean we see with our eyes and not with our ears. To exchange that which we cannot see for that which we see tangible gain is not to see.

“And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.” … “But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.” … “And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that which is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”

God is good to us. When he has made us clean by our faith in him then we are cleansed. As a nation we should respect God. In the Journey of Christ with his disciples they were commanded to teach and preach that Jesus would be the final judge and through his name would we receive the forgiveness of our sins.

Lord, let our peace be of you and in you. Let us set our Journey on the mark of your calling in our lives and help us as a nation to give all respect to you. We thank you for all that you do for us. Be with my family-my children- and their families today. Amen
