‘Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity(love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.” 1 Corinthians 13 v1
There are so many ways to speak of love. Love in not to be confused with acceptance of continued wrong doing but the greatest sacrifice of love was when Christ Jesus gave his life on the cross for the wrong doings of many. He still reproves those he loves because he loves them enough to offer direction onto the right path in life.
The balance is found through the judgement of Christ Jesus and the spirit of Christ that lives within the believer. Sometimes the right step becomes difficult to see but with prayer the difficulties of choice become much clearer.
Lord, help us daily in knowing the right steps in our own lives and in how we help others. Let us have right discernment without the deception of smooth talking and guide our ways of helping others. We thank you for your goodness, your grace, and your word that helps us daily. Amen
