“And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.” Luke 8 v20
…and the word continues in the book of Luke…
…”And he answered and said unto them, “My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.”
Jesus clarity of this was that those who hear and live the word of God, the Bible, show evidence in their own lives that they are part of the family of God, God’s family.
Lord, we thank you for this day for your word, as it shows us our way. We thank you for the ability to choose and to belong to the family of God. Help us this day to show others by our actions and words that they to can be a part of this family. Amen
