“In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said,
I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my father: and no man knoweth who the Son is but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to who the Son will reveal to him.
And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately,
Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see: For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.” Luke 10 v21-24 AKJV
To be like Jesus. To rejoice in what God has shown us. Life is good and eternity is forever. The creator, God, of “heaven and earth” has known and forever knows what is good and what is evil. All things will be weighed in the balances of true judgement one day, and for the one with a true heart whom is seeking to see the Lord, will all of it be revealed. Jesus loves us, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. God is good, better than good and we are so very, very, thankful for all that he has done for us.
Lord, we thank you for this day, and for the days before us and all those that are with you this day, and for those with us now, that you would bless them this day beyond measure, and for the things to come that we know, by faith you have in store for us, we thank you. Amen
