“No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body is also full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. What we see in life often is what we are joined with in our thoughts, our actions, and the way we live. When we are joined with Christ the spirit of God which lives within us becomes the light of who we are. The surrounding work constantly to influence living in the way of the world. So many are working to gain influence in the mind but only one of two can be the choice of who we follow.

To be like Jesus. To have a light and hide the light does no service to anyone. To have experienced the light, know the light, understand the light as it is in our own lives and share that with others is good to others, better than good because it is beyond ourselves.

“But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forebearance of God;…Romans 3 v21-25 AKJV

Lord, today is your day. I am thankful for yesterday, and yesterday is gone into history. My steps are ordered by your direction, help me not to side step and miss the purpose you have for me today. Forgive me Lord, where I have failed and I thank you. I thank you for your mercies, and your grace strength. I pray, hear our prayers today, the prayers of my family, the prayers of my friends, the prayers of those seeking you. Amen
