“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs licked his sores. To be like Jesus. We shall not trust in the riches of this world, but trust in God. Status has not part in the final destination, eternity. We overcome here by the blood of Christ-the one who has risen from the grave, and our testimony. Many are sent, Preachers, in the calling of God to share of this truth. Heaven, is a reality that is easily excepted for the most part, Hell, not so much easily excepted but yet the same reality.
…”Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, and dominion and power, both now and ever. Keep on keeping on. Tell of the truth, with compassion, and with respect for the judgement of God that is to come.
Lord, this day is yours. I thank you for your word, for your mercies, and for your truth that keeps us all in your graces. We give you thanks. Amen
