“And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the misdst of Samaria and Galilee And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them,
Go shew yourselves unto the priests.
And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said,
Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? They are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
And he said unto him,
Arise, go thy way: they faith hath made thee whole.” Luke 17 v11-19 AKJV
To be like Jesus. Today, all that needs to be is, to God be the glory for what he is doing. It came only from a stranger.
Lord, this day is yours, for I am not able to carry it through on my own. I ask your forgiveness in my own struggles, not to put them out to the world only to be trampled by them, but to let them know as well that I am only what you would have me to be, by your graces and mercy. I know many face the same as well. We do know there is an adversary, and he awaits the challenge and never rest so by your graces-(not to use them as an excuse for wrong doing)-We will overcome. Amen.
