It is said by some that perception is reality. Today, many count on “first impressions” to make serious judgement or evaluation on others of whom they come in contact with. It seems in most cases the first responsibility of judgment has been transferred from the responsibility of the one judging to the one being judged. In one tenth of a second research shows people are making “indelible” impressions and relying on those impressions to make other decisions that impact peoples lives directly.

Lord, as our world appears to have become increasingly more difficult let us understand your word in bringing ourselves to the manner of truth first. Let us help others in understanding your goodness and your grace, not to be taken as lightly to use for excusable actions when there should be repentance. Lord, let your spirit renew us in a way of true conscious for others and most of all for ourselves.
