To be like Jesus 131

Today

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise us up also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many rebound to the glory of God.” 2 Corinthians 4 v8-15 AKJV

God is good, therefore life is good.

He is merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. For the Lord loveth judgement, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.” Psalm 37 b26-29 AKJV

Not to be complacent, or filled with a spirit of apathy, God blesses those who will work through the trials of this life in a way unexplainable to the natural way of thinking. His love and mercy endures forever.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Psalm 100 v5 AKJV

Lord, this day is yours. Your touch is to be with my family this day, I pray, as they walk through the decisions and adjustments of this life. Lord, as we go with our co-workers this day let your touch of your hand be with them as well. Lord, we pray over our nation and our world this day. Lord, around our small part of what you have created, many are seeking and serving you and others, be with them this day. Amen
