To be like Jesus 139

Today

“We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 2 Corinthians 6 v1,2 AKJV

Solomon wrote in the Older Testament days when speaking of what matters, and of “vanity”, and of “Vanity of vanities…”. In the end he wrote…

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Ecclesiastes 12 v13,14 AKJV

It is troubling at times to see where much of the today’s world finds itself. Seemingly no boundaries, or if they disagree the thing is to create an agenda that gets them changed, even the definition and perception of Morals and morality. Many have ask, what do I need to be saved from? Why is there need of salvation?

Others have seen and experienced the salvation of God, over time and testimony is given, thus the Old, and the New Testament of Scriptures. Also, personal experiences that know the difference that God has made in individual lives that bear witness to the precepts of God being effective in the salvation of them day to day. God is merciful, he is great, his longsuffering(patience) greater than any, yet there is a day all will be required of this life that has gone un-repented. This day is good and is the day of salvation, that our lives would reflect him in us so that others to may know of his goodness. Eternal

Lord, I thank you for this day a pray that a repentant heart remain in who I am, yet boldness to proclaim the gospel as well. We give you thanks for all that you have done. As our people are abroad I pray your spirit, your strength, your goodness, and your protection be with them all.

Lord, this day is yours. Amen
