Lord, this day is yours. A long time ago after becoming once renewed in the Spirit of Christ the question was put to me-‘How do you know…implying…how do I know that I am saved…born again… how do you know that it is all real?…and my only answer that came at the time was-because he lives in me.
Am I boastful, claiming a perfect life now? No, far from it-it seems at times. Do I use that to either promote myself or as an excuse to continue in a lifestyle not aligning with God’s word? I hope not, and if I know, I hope I will work to know that I do not. So, how do I know?
Through Christ himself, the Spirit of Christ Jesus-bearing witness in me with the Spirit of my soul that I know he lives. I cherish that time in his grace and in his strength.
