vocation-
“Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.” Mark 9 v50 AKJV
The sting, the seasoning-both a reason for salt. If the salt has lost the ability to be salt, then what good is it? Stand worthy of your vocation, in religious terms this could be called- the calling-even to the laymen. Stand notable to the qualities and abilities given in the vocation to which you are chosen. In the summation of it all, do what we do in the fear of God and our love for others.
Take note of all the things written in his Holy Word-as one thread holds it’s part in a layer of cloth, each word in God’s word holds life to life.
Lord, forgive us this day, this day is yours. We thank you. Amen
