“Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict our-selves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance. Lord, as we seek you, help us in our lifestyle to devote our time to prayer even and both in the difficult times and in the good times. Many desire to rise up against the way of those whose thoughts are on you, help them Lord to see you and not men. Let your strength bind up those up to the wrong ideas and let your purpose loose them to a life of following you. Many, even claiming to be in your house rise up against one another with a wrong spirit, help us Lord to see you in every day-strengthen a contemplative spirit of prayer in us. Amen
