“That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3 v6 AKJV
Lord, this day is yours. A long time ago after becoming once renewed in the Spirit of Christ the question was put to me-‘How do you know…implying…how do I know that I am saved…born again… how do you know that it is all real?…and my only answer that came at the time was-because he lives in me.
Am I boastful, claiming a perfect life now? No, far from it-it seems at times. Do I use that to either promote myself or as an excuse to continue in a lifestyle not aligning with God’s word? I hope not, and if I know, I hope I will work to know that I do not. So, how do I know?
Through Christ himself, the Spirit of Christ Jesus-bearing witness in me with the Spirit of my soul that I know he lives. I cherish that time in his grace and in his strength.
Lord, this day is yours. Amen
“Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the womb a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?” John 3 v4 AKJV
Life. New life. How is that to be?
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” John 3 v5 AKJV
Lord, I thank you for this day. Amen
“Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3 v3 AKJV
The specifics are, there must be a change, a renewed person-born again-from an old life style to a new person before heaven. It is the change that comes from faith in Jesus Christ to the heart and soul of an individual measured only by the individual receiving the change. God is real, his spirit is real and will be real to every individual. Jesus loves you.
Lord, this day is yours and I thank you. Amen
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, he deceiveth himself. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For every man shall bear his own burden. Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all things.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that he also reap.” Galations 6 v2-7 AKJV
Lord, this day is yours. Let my first defense be to put my trust in you. I know your word is truth, your Spirit is strength, your grace is Godly love-not that this world can mimic-I thank you. Amen
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things ye would.” Galations 5 v16,17 AKJV
As we go into this day, let it begin with prayer. Our Lord, and Father from where everything comes, we thank you. Your sovereign word and your spirit, let it guide who we are as we are restored unto you from the place of our infirmities. In our right place, let our love for your ways rejoice. We thank you, as we cannot think to highly of ourselves but be thankful for all that you have done for us, and all that you will do.
Lord, this day is yours, and we thank you. We are glad. Amen
July 12 AKJV
“For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; …” Galations 4 v22-24 AKJV
Lord, this day is yours. Let us seek to walk in the Spirit of your righteousness. Amen
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.” Galations 6 v1 AKJV
To know a calling to be set apart, different, sanctified,… living a good and blessed life, is to know that at times a person may be ‘taken over in a fault’ and to know the original calling in the first place began with forgiveness and lead to goodness. God is good, the dispensation of grace is to each one from him to be accepted of each one only by each one. To know that is to encourage one another.
Lord, this day is yours. Amen
