“And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying, Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them,

If I tell you, you will not believe: And if I ask you, you will not answer me, nor let me go. Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them,

Ye say that I am.

And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.” Luke 22 v66-71 AKJV

The twisting of words and the traps laid by men that do not, nor will not stand.

“BLESSED is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” Psalms 1 v1 AKJV

Lord, let us hear what your word is saying to us this day, Lord, this day is yours. Amen

“Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off. And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them. But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not. And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not. And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean. And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew. And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him,

Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

And Peter went out, and wept bitterly. And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him. And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee? And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.” Luke 22 v54-65 AKJV

As we stand in our space of liminality, the decisions we make are free to our ownership. Let us this day seek to honor you Lord. Amen

Lord, this day is yours. Amen

And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said unto him,

Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut of his right ear. And Jesus answered and said,

Suffer ye thus far.

And he touched his ear, and healed him. Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him,

Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves? When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.” Luke 22 v47-53 AKJV

Jesus recognized and spoke to three groups in this passage. Judas-first: His disciples that had been with him-second: and those who came for him-third: — Judas attempt to hide his deception clearly failed, and Jesus let him know this to his own conviction: One of his disciples brought an aggressive defense and Jesus point to them was one of a question-Do you not realize what is going to happen has purpose beyond the needs you are seeing?: and thirdly, he was speaking to some of those he had taught daily in the temple, and shared time with them. The point made was that they were of a darkness of spirit and chosen to be so in the hour that was made available to them.

Today, as we see these things in writing along with understanding the reason of the celebration of the passover. The blood over the door to sustain life of the child. Let us remember that our journey now with with Christ in the spirit of Christ, the joy of Christ, we go forward. The true celebration of grace is upon us.

Lord, I thank you for this day. We thank you. Amen

“Then Jesus answering said unto them,

Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.” Luke 7 v22,23 AKJV

“Whosoever”-That is you and me, and any other that will receive the word of the Lord. Conviction and offense offer two very different paths. Godly conviction is a love of God bringing understanding of the adversary who works to steal life. All things are possible in the Lord, moving the life of this earth and its circumstances beyond us.

“I know both how to be abased, and I know how to be abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.” Phillipians 4 v12,13 AKJV

Lord, this day is yours. Let this day be about what you are doing and we are a part of. Renew a strength in us with your right spirit. Amen

“Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6 v37,38

It is said by some that perception is reality. Today, many count on “first impressions” to make serious judgement or evaluation on others of whom they come in contact with. It seems in most cases the first responsibility of judgment has been transferred from the responsibility of the one judging to the one being judged. In one tenth of a second research shows people are making “indelible” impressions and relying on those impressions to make other decisions that impact peoples lives directly.

Lord, as our world appears to have become increasingly more difficult let us understand your word in bringing ourselves to the manner of truth first. Let us help others in understanding your goodness and your grace, not to be taken as lightly to use for excusable actions when there should be repentance. Lord, let your spirit renew us in a way of true conscious for others and most of all for ourselves.

Lord, this day is yours and I thank you for the flowers. Amen

“And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, And said unto them,

Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.” Luke 22 45,46 AKJV

Lord, as we miss so many things, your goodness is with us. As I walk today, let it be in prayer. In the spirit, in the spirit of prayer-to me-is to walk being mindful of my conversation with you all the day long as it goes by. In the spirit, is to be conscious of right and wrong and the ability to choose between the two correctly. In the spirit, is to trust you in that when I fall, or fail, you will again pick me up, or redirect me to keep walking in the direction that you are guiding me. In the spirit is to put my trust in you and work not to worry over things that are beyond me. In the spirit is to think of others and my surroundings in a way of understanding and knowledge that you have so provided for me. In the spirit, is to understand how good it is that we can be a part of the family of God-humility of a good way. and so much more…

Lord, as I have failed I ask your forgiveness, and pray also for others who are bringing prayers to you this day. I pray Lord for the peace of Jerusalem and for all their prayers this day. Lord, this day is yours, Amen

Lord, I thank you for the bloom of the flowers. Amen

“Then said he unto them,

But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors for the things concerning me have an end.

And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them,

It is enough.” Luke 22 36-38 AKJV

Lord, this day is yours.
