The reality of what is to come stands to reason by what has already been witnessed in the past, yet many still cannot see. Because some cannot see does not mean that it will not be seen.

Lord, let us this day stand by faith in knowing what you have promised in your word will come. Lord, this day we are thankful, so very, very thankful for what you have already done and that we have seen. Lord, open our eyes-our understanding ears-to what your Spirit is saying to the church. Amen

December 17

Three hundred fifty one days have passed after today in 2019. Should our God choose, three hundred and sixty five days will soon be passed of 2019, as we have witnessed for a lifetime. It is by faith and experience of life that we know this will come-even as we do not control the time-we trust.

“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Revelation 5 v13 AKJV

Lord, as this day goes forward help me to realize it is more about you than all the things I encounter which would offer distraction from you. One day will come and all will see the relevance of seeking to live a good life, rather than one of all the gains of this world. Let those we walk near today see you in us, even as we take the stand necessary to be who you would have us to be, as we are at times compelled of our adversary to go farther than we should in our attempts to have others see/understand our thinking. Lord, I thank you for this day. Amen

December 16

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” Revelation 3 v6 AKJV

Lord, as this day comes and passes, let my ears be open unto your word and my heart, mind, and soul open unto your Spirit. Amen

December 15

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” Revelation 3 v19 AKJV

Love is good in all things, especially in the knowing that God cares for you and for me. We thank you, let us hear your words as we pray that you strengthen our resolve in you. Amen

December 14

“Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said unto her,

If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.” John 4 v9, 10 AKJV

As we prepare to give gifts this season, if many knew of the gift of God whom has already been given, would they believe and ask-give me the living water?

Lord, I thank you for the gift of living water. Amen

December 13

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come, and let him that is athirst come, And whosever will, let him take of the water of life freely.” Revelation 22 v16, 17 AKJV

The testimony in the church-to the church-from the angel. Jesus is the savior, the bright and morning and star. The Spirit of God and the church (the bride) says come and “take of the water of life freely.”

Our rock, our foundation, what we have to stand on that we can rely on-totally-Jesus-Our God-the same of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We thank you. Amen

“Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.” Revelation 22 v7-8 AKJV

As we anticipate Christmas, and the celebration of our Christ we know according to his word he will bless those who keep what is written in his word. Seen of men, just a touch of the awesome things of God. Let us worship him in deed. Amen

December 11

“And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Lacodiceans: and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea. And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you, Amen” Colossians 4 v16-18 AKJV

To share in the word is to know and understand it is not just a keepsake for us, but a gift of God to share with others-that is good.

Lord, as this day goes forward and everyday let us seek to fulfil your calling and your purpose for each of us as we remember one another. We are thankful, ‘so very, very, thankful’ for this day. Amen

December 10

“Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven. Continue in prayer, and watch with the same thanksgiving. Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak of the mystery of Christ, for which I am also bonds: that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.” Colossians 4 v1-5 AKJV

I pray this day for the words of right in a world that seems to love what is wrong. The people are good, let the words bring what is right to the taking of those with a desire. Change the hearts of the unjust to give chance to what is just, to know what is good and full of you, Lord. Amen

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong, shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.” Colossians 3 v23-25 AKJV

Everything matters-to be conscious of who we are and what we do is a great thing. To apply that in a way of thinking that is unto the Lord-with that focus-will cause us to do what is approved of God’s ways, the light to men will follow. The same is true in what we know not to do, and a difference is those kind of actions will cause even ourselves to stumble. No man is perfect, yet we are to try for perfections.

Lord, as this day is almost gone-I thank you for your blessings. Let me understand to stay on track with what your plans are for me. Let me understand to put my trust and faith in you even beyond, especially beyond my own abilities. Amen
