Today’s Meditation 12/4/2017

“These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the judgement of truth and peace in your gates:” Zechariah  8 v19

Specific things the Lord said “shall” be done, speaking to the people of Jerusalem. Tell the truth and let you actions be based on true justice and bring peace to your gates: Daily living doesn’t have to be confused with the sin of lying and all around motives of competitive self gain, nor should our commitment to others have to be driven by what we can gain for ourselves from them.  We should work to do everything we do as if we are doing it for the Glory and love of the Lord.  Have a blessed day. 12/4/2017 Monday

Today’s Meditation 12/02/2017

“Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptabe unto thee, and break of thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquility.” Daniel 4 v27

A dream came as a warning to the king, Daniel was called upon for thee interpretation of the dream. It was a description of what was to come and Daniels council to the king was to (break of thy sins) change the way he was living and begin living righteous to the Lord, not self righteous but Godly righteous. Also he was counselled to show mercy to the poor. This may have resulted in the lengthening of (tranquility-define as a state of calmness or peaceful). Question is, did the king listen. More so today, do I listen when the Lord speaks to me about living the way I should  and treating others the way that I should. Lord, let our ears hear what your spirit is saying to us as a church-the body of Christ. Amen 12/2/2017

Today’s Meditation 12/01/2017

“And judgement is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.” Isaiah 59 v14

When our worlds judgment seems all backwards and true justice looks like a place that in none existent in the streets of our land, fairness and equity cannot enter. True righteousness in the Lord Jesus’s redeeming power will shine through in his time. His promises will not fail. Hallelujah to the king of kings, the Lord of Lords will prevail and justice and equity will be blessed upon his children. Lord, this day forgive me for my failures, my iniquities, and let me seek that closer walk with you. Amen. 12/1/2017

Today’s Meditation 11/30/2017

“Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him” I Kings 1 v5

Lord, thank you for this day. Help me dear Lord not to assume that I am exalted above the place you would have for me this day. While I know some men trust in horses and chariots, or in our day their own abilities. Let us put our trust in you. I thank you for those skilled tradesmen I work with from around our God fearing, respecting nation and ask that you would guide them today in their work, in their relationships with family and others, and most of all in their relationship with you. Let me and all my family and friends always take our refuge, and strength in you. Amen. 11/30/2017

Today’s Meditation 11/28/2017

“Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.” Proverbs 18 v1

Lord, let me first begin to examine myself in a way that is by your standards. If I should do anything with a wrong attitude or spirit of myself, let me feel the good convictions that will take me back to where I need to be with you. Help me today, to understand this verse so that I may enjoy good fellowship with others. Amen.

Today’s Meditation 11/27/2017

a random verse…

“Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face to be changed. I counsel the to keep the king’s commandment, and that in regard to the oath of God. ” Ecclesiastes 8 v1,2

It is good to know that following God’s commandments, and relying on his promises with our commitment to him, we will be strengthened with the ability and the good countenance to be who we need to be. May I put my trust in him today.

Today’s Meditation 11/26/2017

a random verse…

“His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of the Lord.”

The stewardship or conscious convictions of what we do with what the Lord has blessed us with will be rewarded by the Lord in his time. This servant was blessed because he worked at making his talents go farther. His five talents became ten talents. The Lord does not expect us to sit and do nothing, or to hide our talents.
