Today’s Meditation 4/6/2018

a random verse…

‘Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity(love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.” 1 Corinthians 13 v1

There are so many ways to speak of love. Love in not to be confused with acceptance of continued wrong doing but the greatest sacrifice of love was when Christ Jesus gave his life on the cross for the wrong doings of many. He still reproves those he loves because he loves them enough to offer direction onto the right path in life.

The balance is found through the judgement of Christ Jesus and the spirit of Christ that lives within the believer. Sometimes the right step becomes difficult to see but with prayer the difficulties of choice become much clearer.

Lord, help us daily in knowing the right steps in our own lives and in how we help others. Let us have right discernment without the deception of smooth talking and guide our ways of helping others. We thank you for your goodness, your grace, and your word that helps us daily. Amen

Today’s Meditation 4/5/2018

a random verse…

“This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is thee.” Daniel 4 v18

Daniel name is Belteshazzar, he was called upon to interpret the dream for the king and relied upon God’s man to share his truth.

Lord, I thank you for the wisdom you guide men with and for the fulfillment of your purposes in life. We give you praise. Amen

Today’s Meditation 4/4/2018

a random verse…

“And ye shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be slain: and be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in.” 2 Kings 11 v8

To arm ourselves with the armor of God, -truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God: – is the greatest victory and challenge foretold to every person at times in life.

Lord, thank you for your help and continued guidance through this life. Your grace and forgiveness is awesome to us. Let us walk in your purposes today, Amen.

“And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.” 1 Chronicles 28 v20

Today’s Meditation 4/1/2018

a random verse…

“Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and billows are gone over me.” Psalm 42 v7

and the transformation of trials goes like this…

…”O my soul? and why art thou disquited withing me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. …Judge me O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. …For thou art the God of my strength: …”

As the Psalmist wrote the inspiration of an enduring Spirit of God shines through the trials of life. We to celebrate this day and every day the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus.  We trust in Jesus.

We praise you Lord this day, for in you we are overcomers beyond the measure of anything of this world, only in you, we are. Thank you Lord for all that you have done for us. Amen Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, Hallelujah, Alleluia…
