“Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?” Isaiah 40 v12
God is in control.
“…But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40 v32
To be at peace with God, not just in being forgiven but also in being able to trust him brings great comfort. In the greatness of God’s might we can rest in his arms. Our performance in not measure in the world’s terms but in his and as the word says, who has the greater measurements? Who has the understanding of your time, except that it is good?
Dear Lord, and heavenly father, we are so very, very thankful for all that you have done for us. Not one can put a measure to the goodness you have shown except that it would be overflowing. We praise you this morning for the answered prayer of a friend. Amen
