“The Lord will enter into judgement with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.” Isaiah 3 v14
Justice will come to answer many in the Lord’s time. Our righteousness is not of ourselves nor is it to point out anothers unrighteousness, but the Lord will enter into that judgement in his time. The consciousness of the word of the Lord will guide the morality of what is right.
We speak of morality, yet the ruin of the poor is laid to the responsibility of those who lead. The house is full but empty, and how can that be? Possessions and Spirit lead down two separate paths, yet one always seems to dominate the other, except where there is balance. Weighed in the balances-it will be.
Lord, help us with the balance of what is right. Let our faith be the first in all that we do, and that faith is in trusting you as our guide in life. Amen.
